Eliance was initially established to service the McCarthy Group of companies' marketing and IT needs. However, we have expanded rapidly over the past few years and now also serve numerous external clients. We offer a comprehensive and integrated, one-stop digital & internet marketing and business software solutions for your business. This includes the best of internet marketing and the latest software innovations. These solutions are sustainable and expansive and include a full through-the-line service. As part of the listed McCarthy Group of companies, and since February 2004 also part of Bidvest, we offer the benefits of a larger company, such as stability, infrastructure and economies of scale.

The McCarthy story is an encouraging account of the growth of a company from a small retail shop to a vast corporation - its success dependant entirely on the strength of its leaders and the support of customers.

McCarthy Limited has grown over the years to become one of the largest motor retail organisations in South Africa.

In January 2004, McCarthy was acquired by one of South Africa's leading industrial companies, the Bidvest Group Limited. Being 100% owned by Bidvest, McCarthy has access to Bidvest's substantial financial resources and also benefits from its empowerment credentials. McCarthy operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bidvest and has retained the McCarthy brand name as well as its existing management team. The way is clear for McCarthy Limited, as one of the key divisions of Bidvest, to play an increasingly prominent role in securing its own future and that of the country, by contributing to the critical transformation of South African business.
